Job Description

Applicants should be familiar and preferably local to Sonoma county. Job site and office travel are required. Experience in the trades and associated office tasks are ideal. A thorough working knowledge of building and construction, design, construction contract administration and California Building Codes, including full understanding of industry practices is important.

Experience in tracking long lead items, scheduling and associated programs related to construction a must: i.e. Sage Estimating & BuilderTrend.

Responsibilities

1. Quantity takeoffs estimating (flooring, tile, countertops, electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures, etc.)

2. Collects, develops, and analyzes technical data to determine project requirements and preparation of information regarding specifications, materials, equipment and estimated costs.

3. Material acquisition, long lead item tracking experience required.

4. Job site delivery, categorization, completion and verification of long lead items.

5. Prepare, assess and handle all processes related to owner input to final decision. Ensures the project is properly closed-out contractually and financially.

6. Responsible for meeting project foremen associated with each job, along with company superintendent, to establish a 2 week future work schedule for all current projects

Starting position will be a part time position of 25 hours per week to start based on experience, as we are looking for someone who could take on the following responsibilities the position could grow to full time.

Compensation

1. $35-60/hr
